Today marks the third anniversary of my MS diagnosis. It's a bittersweet milestone, a reminder of both the challenges I've faced and the incredible strength I've discovered.
When I was first diagnosed, I felt a mix of fear, uncertainty, and a deep sense of loss. But over time, I've learned to embrace my new reality and find joy in the journey.
One of my biggest accomplishments during this time has been the creation of my stage play, LYRICS. The process of writing and directing LYRICS was incredibly therapeutic, allowing me to explore my emotions and experiences through storytelling. It's been a labor of love, and I'm so proud of the work that has gone into it. Thanks for support and all those who gave their talent to help it come to life.
In addition to my creative pursuits, I've also had the privilege of leading a couple of non-profit organizations. These experiences have given me the opportunity to make a positive impact on my community and connect with others who share my passion for creative justice and personal development.
Public speaking has also become an important part of my journey. I've had the chance to share my story with various audiences, from schools, community groups, and corporations. Speaking about my experiences with MS, productivity, and creativity has been both empowering and humbling. It's helped me to break down misconceptions and raise awareness about this often misunderstood condition.
One of the things I’ve learned while living with MS is the opportunity to connect with others who are going through similar experiences. I've found that sharing stories and supporting one another can be incredibly healing. That's why I'm passionate about helping others tell their own stories. Whether it's through writing, speaking, or simply listening, I believe that everyone has a unique and valuable perspective to share.
As I reflect on the past three years, I'm filled with gratitude for the incredible support I've received from my family, friends, and the MS community. I've learned that even in the face of adversity, it's possible to find strength, resilience, and hope. I'm excited to see what the future holds and to continue making a difference in the world.
