The name "Sauti," which means "voice" in Swahili, emphasizes the organization's vision to amplify the voices of creative leaders. Sauti Global is led by Winston Archibald Wilson, a playwright, director, public speaker, and producer. Wilson, originally from Jamaica and raised in New York, is a graduate of St. John’s University (New York) and Kennesaw State University (Georgia). He uses his creative platforms to discuss how creativity helps him manage his multiple sclerosis and inspire others.
